Married and Pregnant Within 2 Months

I am pregnant!! This was such a surprise to us and we were definitely not trying to get pregnant, but life is a gift and we are SO excited to raise this little baby that God has given to us. We got married July 5th and found out we were pregnant on September 25th, so it hasn't been a very long time hahah. For as long as I can remember my biggest dreams in life were to be a wife and a mom, now I am both, I couldn't be more excited.

How we found out:

Okay.... so let's go back to the month of August (1 month before getting pregnant). I was supposed to get my period the middle of August but it had been late by 3 days, all the months before it had been right on time. I started to get worried (and excited lol) and I told Michael that if I don't get my period in 2 days we should take a pregnancy test. I started feeling really sick and just didn't feel like myself, the suspense was killing us so we took the test. It was negative. I got my period the next day. Fast forward a month to September 20th, my app said I was supposed to get my period so I patiently waited. I was so exhausted and tired, and my period was 5 days late AGAIN. We didn't think it meant anything because the same thing happened the month before. I honestly thought something was just wrong with my body, like I needed to go to the doctor or something. We had one extra pregnancy test at our apartment, so at like 10 at night we decided to take it. I was so excited/nervous so I didn't read the instructions and just dunked the pregnancy test into my pee lol. 2 LINES SHOWED UP!! Both Michael and I were like "no way....." The line on the test is SOOOO dim that it doesn't even look like it is there, so we got in our car and drove to Walgreens and bought another 2 tests hahah, this time we bought the ones that said "pregnant" or "not pregnant." We got back home and I chugged so much water, I peed again and this time Michael did the test so it didn't get messed up. It said pregnant. In that moment we were literally so shocked. We took one more test just to make sure hahaha. It was positive as well. We both laid in bed and were like "holy crap we are parents." We talked for a bit, and then the next day we told our family and friends.

We are honestly so amazed that God chose us to raise this little baby and chose us to be his/her parents. Our plan was to wait till we hit 10 months after we got married and then start trying, but God had different plans. WE love this baby already and we are already so obsessed with him/her. Babies are a gift from God and I am in awe that I get to carry this baby and bring him/her into the world. Ahhh we are so excited. So expectant. So blessed.
